Where to start…

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. This past week I got to discover what that idea was with Lelani and Myles; they are the 2024 ASG candidates.

“Hey everyone, My name is Myles Newble and I’m going to be running for VP alongside Leilani. A little about myself is that I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology. With this I am also a part of the CMU Football team and BSA on campus. I’m looking forward to this upcoming election and making a difference on campus and in the community!”

Leilani Domingo

“My name is Leilani Domingo. I am running for 2024-25 Student Body President! I am majoring in EMT Paramedic and Business Administration. I am a first generation student and a member of HPA. I also have the incredible opportunity to be the Student Advisor for the Colorado Commission on Higher Education. I am excited to be a voice for all different types of students, a resource for those in need, and improve campus safety all while maintaining transparency with the student body.”

Knowing both of the candidates I know they will be the right fit to take over ASG in the upcoming year. Me and Myles have been good friends since we got to Mesa and he is nothing short of a people person. Myles is always active around campus and engaging in everything including but not limited to Hot dog eating contest. If I had to vote for someone its gonna be the person who does hot dog eating contest.

Leilani is a kind and compassionate person, I’ve also had the joy of knowing her for the past 3 years and she is nothing short of a good person. She cares deeply for everyone and always makes sure that everyone feels welcomed.

Myles is an outstanding young man I believe that he will offer a voice that everyone can understand and relate too.

Leilani wants to be the voice of the students here at Colorado Mesa University, she know the students come first always.
