Alfred Schutz was fascinated by the way that the social construct of “money” plays a central role in the social world. He developed the concept of typification's which is commonsense stocks of knowledge that are constantly being updated and category schemes that allow us to easily make sense of the social world

GENDER ROLES

Gender Roles are a big topic among social constructs because growing up back then you were immediately placed into them. The good ole blue and pink, boys couldn’t wear pink because it was for girls only etc. Gender roles in todays world are vastly different from back then and It is truly heading in a great direction because freedom of choice is much more prevalent in our society.
